A HOPE-FILLED HEART

Most everyone wants to feel worthy and find happiness. Striving to live a life full of meaning and purpose.
As I have gotten older and my children are grown, I have struggled to find my purpose. What’s my importance, how can I be helpful? How do I create a purpose-filled life?
I have found that the more I draw nearer to God, the more meaningful my life becomes! So I purposefully start my days in prayer and conversation with God. I also read something from my bible & inspirational books. I then reflect on my readings and how I can apply them to my life.
My hope is that you will find hope, comfort, peace and even joy from reading my about my journeys in my relationship with God, using scriptures to guide me along my path.
AN INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE
In the book of Ephesians, Paul tells us how deep God’s love is is for us. Paul prays for us to know God’s love, surpassing knowledge, to be filled and rooted in His love.
“I pray that Christ be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in him. And may you be able to feel and understand how long, how high, how deep His love is and to experience this love for yourself.” Ephesians 3:17-19
God loves us more than we can imagine. Ephesians 3:20 says that God, working in us, is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of – beyond our hightst prayers, desires, thoughts or hopes!
God’s love reaches to the depths of our discouragement and despair. If you are feeling rejected or isolated, know that you can never be lost to God’s love for you!
When I was in my teens, a high school friend was killed in a motorcycle accident. I remember thinking, is this all there is to life? Once we die, that’s it?
This started my inquiry into life after death and towards knowing and understanding God. A moment in time in 1973 that has affected my thoughts, hopes and prayers for a closer relationship with God and a deeper understanding as to what His plans are for my life!
This book was one of my first readings by Sarah Young, Jesus Calling. I love her writings. It’s so helpful to have a quick reading to inspire me on a daily basis. It helps to keep me feeling connected to God and His plan for my life!

MY WRITING PROJECTS
I am currently researching and writing about our numerous states or frames of mind. In this book I will take scriptures on our emotions and add my own personal interpretation on how to apply these scriptures to help in identifying negative thoughts and feelings and, ultimately, replacing them with thoughts that build you up, not bring you down.
Imagine a life lived with a deeper sense of meaning. Imagine a heart filled with hopeful expectancy. Imagine a closer, more loving relationship with God. This is the premise of I Am Worthy!
When I was fighting cancer, I realized that I was relying on alcohol to try and alleviate my anxiety over the fear of the cancer returning. Eventually I realized that the 1 or 2 or… glasses of wine was actually making my anxiety worse. In this book, I will share my journey and how my relationship with God helped me come through this journey and I’m truly living my best life now!
